The city of Šibenik is located in northern Dalmatia and due to its position, it is an ideal starting point for excursions.

There are also two national parks, Krka and Kornati, in the Šibenik-Knin County, where you can go on one-day or even several-day excursions.

Numerous opportunities for excursions are provided by the beautiful islands of the Šibenik archipelago. The nearest islands are Zlarin and Prvić, which can be reached by a taxi boat in just a few minutes or you can enjoy a ferry ride. Two neighbouring cities, Zadar in the north and Split in the south, are about an hour's drive from Šibenik.
