The Šibenik Hat is one of the most recognizable symbols of our city. Over the last century it stabilized in an orange colour with characteristic black embroidered decorations, usually called bovuli, bouli, boule or bule.

Today's Šibenik Hat is actually an amalgam of Šibenik and Drniš hats.
The art of Šibenik hat manufacture is considered intangible cultural heritage.
Many public officials around the world promoted the Šibenik hat as a Croatian historical product, among them the most famous Croatian tennis player Goran Ivanišević at the audience with the Pope in 1995.
