If you are interested in cruising around the Sibenik Archipelago or even going further out to sea, you will be interested in finding out the price of chartering a boat from Sibenik. In the town, you will find the Mandalina Marina, where most of the 304 boats and yachts are kept.

Here we will give you the average prices of boat and yacht charters from Sibenik. We have taken the details from the charter companies’ price lists for the whole year. The chart below   provides details of how many boats are on offer according to the number of cabins in each boat or yacht. You will see that the largest number of vessels have 5-6 cabins, followed by those with 4, then 3, and finally, the least number of boats have just 2 cabins.

The following table  shows the average price of chartering a boat in Sibenik according to the number of cabins. As expected, renting a two-cabin boat is the cheapest, and the most expensive to rent is a 5-6 cabin vessel. However, the differences between the high and low prices for each cabin size are around the same.

The next graph  shows the average price of renting a boat or a yacht in Sibenik according to the number of cabins. The curves show how the prices changed throughout the year. As expected, renting a boat or a yacht in the winter is cheaper than in the summer.

If you charter a boat or yacht, you generally pay for the cost of the whole vessel, not for the number of people that are renting it. However, we thought that it would be interesting to work out the rental price per person if the maximum number of people were on the boat. Perhaps it would be more economical to charter a larger yacht with more cabins and get together a bigger group of friends. Table 3 (t3) shows the average boat rental price per person depending on the number of cabins on the vessel. This shows that it is cheapest to rent a boat with 3 cabins, then a boat with 4 cabins, then a boat with 2 cabins and finally, a boat with 5-6 cabins. There are generally 2 berths in a cabin and often 2 additional berths in the salon. This means that a 3-cabin boat will usually hold 8 people. 

Graph 3   shows the movement throughout the year of the average boat rental price per person in Sibenik, comparing it to the number of cabins. Boats with 3 cabins come out top as the most economical, followed by 4 cabin boats and yachts. There is a little crossover with 2-cabin boats and 5-6, but generally, boats with 5-6 cabins are the most expensive throughout the year.

We then created a table   that shows the average occupancy of the boats and yachts by the number of cabins. The information is based on 231 vessels moored in Sibenik. You will see that the highest booking rate is in the week 2023-06-03 and the lowest in the week 2023-12-23. The highest booking rate is for a 3-cabin boat and then 4, then 5-6, and finally, 2 cabins. It is important to remember that there may be fluctuations in occupancy in the off-season because boat and yacht owners often state that their boats are booked when they are in a dry dock for maintenance.

Finally, we are showing you a graph   with comparative curves which indicate the booking rate throughout the season according to the number of cabins on the rental vessel.
